Sick Visitation: Fr. Dermot will visit the sick and the housebound of the parish this week, on Thursday 31st May and Friday 1st June after morning Mass.

Sunday Collection: Last week’s Collection amounted to £1,088 and £574.28 for Diocesan Purposes. Thank you.

Derry Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lough Derg, led by Bishop Donal McKeown, will take place Friday 22nd –Sunday 24th June 2018. Coach travelling from St Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry, via Strabane. For pilgrims travelling by coach, the cost will be £80 per person (which includes all transport and pilgrimage costs). A non-refundable deposit of £20 per person is required to secure your place. Pilgrims may, of course, use their own means of transport. Tirgan Community Group: There will be a Free hearing check and talk for all age groups in Tirgan Hall on Monday 4th June 7 – 9 pm. Everybody Welcome.
Mini Health Fair and Fun day with Bouncy Castles, Face painting, balloon modelling etc on Saturday 30th June, 12 noon until 2.00pm followed by Dance in the evening, music by Gregory Donaghy Good Trouble

St. Mary’s Grammar School, Magherafelt Summer Camp is open to P6 pupils and will take place on 2-6 July 2018. The Summer Camp will run daily from 10 am – 3 pm and is a blend of Literacy & Numeracy Tuition and Fun Activities. Healing Mass at Columba House Thurs 31st May: Fr Neal Carlin and the Columba Community will celebrate a special Mass for healing on Thursday 31st May at 7.30pm in Columba House, 11 Queen St, Derry. We invite you to come along and share in this special evening of prayer for healing.

Gaeltacht Scholarships: Colaiste na bhFiann in partnership with Foras na Gaelige are offering scholarships worth £320 to 11 – 14 Year olds who wish to attend an Irish language course in Gaoth Dobhair in July this year. The annual Patrick Higgins Memorial Tournament will take place in Longfield on Sunday June 17th at 1:30pm. This is an U10 football competition open to clubs from South Derry commemorating the great work that Patrick Higgins our former chairman did for the GAA within our parish and throughout the county.

The club offers its deepest sympathy to the McGuckin family of Carncose on the death of Henry McErlean of Rocktown father to Geraldine and grandfather to players Leanne; Edel; Sinead and Ryan.
