Derry Diocesan Plan. Last Saturday at a conference in Derry, Bishop Donal McKeown launched a three year plan for the Diocese of Derry that will build on the strengths and gifts already present in all parishes of the diocese and prepare us for a new way of being a church, where there are fewer priests but an ever vibrant faith community eager to proclaim the message of Christ’s love where they live and work. Over the next three Sunday’s the major themes of the plan will be addressed and as you leave church today please ensure that you have the special colour supplement that will expand on the plan. Please pray for the success of this three year process that will culminate in a Diocesan Assembly in 2021, the Columban Year.
