Tirgan Community Hall: Tea Dance on Friday 26th October, music by Colin Harney, light supper served, dancing 9 pm – Midnight. Admission £5.
Why not try and drop a dress size for Christmas, with Ladies Circuits, each Monday evening 7 pm – 8 pm. 6 sessions £20, starting Monday 5th November.
Youth Club is having their Halloween Disco on Monday 29th October, 7 pm – 8.30 pm. Prizes for best costume. The Disco is for Primary 1 to Primary 7 children only. Admission £3. Music by DJ Dee Groogan.

Maghera Library – ‘Would you like help with using a computer, iPad, Laptop, Mobile phone, Kindle or any other device?’ There will be an IT tutor available in the Library from 10 am – 5pm on the following dates – 29th October, 12th, 19th and 26th
November to answer your questions and to provide individual or group help using your preferred device. Booking is not essential. Feel free to call in on any of these dates or if you would like an extended session, contact Maghera Library on 028 7964 2578 to book your preferred time. The tutor will deal with basic to advanced iPad usage, e-books and e-magazines, avoiding scams, internet shopping and safety, and any other queries you may have. This is a free service available to everyone.

Annual Derry Diocesan Pioneer Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church, Killyclogher, Co. Tyrone on Sunday 4th November at 3 pm. Chief celebrant will be Bishop Donal McKeown. Refreshments afterwards in the Parochial Hall.

Home safety: Raisa from the Mid-Ulster Council will give a talk on ‘Health and Safety in the Home’ on Tuesday 23rd October from 11 am – 12 noon. Open to the over 65s and to people with young children under the age of 5 years.

Alzheimer’s Society Carer Support Group: The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, 23rd October, in The Lurach Centre, Maghera, from 7 pm – 8.30 pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Sarsfield Accordion Band: Buffet Supper and Dance in Tirgan Hall on Saturday 3rd November. Tickets now available from any committee member. Band practice continues every Thursday 7.30 pm to 9 pm. New Members are always welcome.

The club offers sincere condolences to the McKay family of Longfield on the death of Philomena, mother of Donna, a member of our welfare committee, sister of former playing members Kevin and Christopher Donnelly and aunt to former players Paul, Kevin, Noel and Jim Joe Donnelly.
