Give Blood in St. Colm’s High School, Draperstown on Monday 12th November from 2.30 pm – 4.15 pm and 5.30 pm – 8 pm.

St Columb’s PS, Cullion:  We are having another recycling lift at the school this Monday 12th November.  Bags of clothes, curtains, bedding, paired shoes, handbags, etc, can all be left at the school before 9.30 am on Monday.  Thank you for your continued support.

Tirgan Community Group:  Sunday 11th November, Traditional Night.  All musicians and singers welcome.  Come along for an evening of good music and craic, enjoy a cup of tea beside an open fire.  Doors open 7 pm.  Everyone welcome.
Ladies circuits continue each Monday night 7 pm – 8 pm.
Tea Dance on Friday 23rd November.  Music by Maudie.
Monday 26th November at 8 pm – Business Planning Seminar for the farming community presented by CAFRE and Rural Support.  Topic:  ‘Making Tax Digital’.  This is one of the most significant changes to have occurred in the past number of years and will have a major impact on almost all farm businesses and comes into effect in April 2019.  It’s important farmers get themselves up to speed with the changes.  It’s important farm members and farm employees attend this seminar and get a chance to hear from industry professionals on key issues related to the ‘Making Tax Digital’ system.

St. Colm’s High School – Ulster Champions:  Congratulations to St. Colm’s High School Junior Camogie Team (U16) on winning the Ulster Title.  This is a fantastic achievement and we are very proud of the dedicated players, management and supportive parents.  Well done to all on this superb success.  We wish St. Colm’s all the best as they progress to the All Ireland series.

Junior Lip/Sync: The club is hosting Junior Lip/Sync on Saturday 17th November at 7.30 pm.  This event involves young people from the parish putting on a dance and music show featuring their interpretation of acts and songs of well known performers.  It’s a wonderful opportunity for our young people to display on stage their acting and musical talents.  We ask you to support this event and tickets are available from the Club Lotto Office on Monday nights and from Brona Connery at Cullion PS or Miss S McGuckin at Knocknagin PS.  Adults £10, U16s £5.

Scor na nÓg: This year is the 50th anniversary of the commencement of Scor as an event dedicated to the promotion of Irish culture by the GAA.  We wish to celebrate this occasion by having representatives in this year’s Scor na Og semi- finals which take place on 17th and 18th November.  Scor consists of the following categories:   Irish Dance; Solo Singing; Ballad Group; Instrumental Music; Recitation and Question Time.   If you are 17 years old or younger and wish to take part, please contact Sinead on 078 5866 2564 or Shay on 077 9613 5759.
