Annual Derry Diocesan Prilgrimage To Lourdes 2019 will take place from 4th – 9th July 2019.  The Pilgrimage Office, 164 Bishop Street, Derry, is now taking enquiries and initial expressions of interest from anyone who might intend to participate in it.  Christmas Vouchers (which you can give as a gift to someone wishing to participate in the pilgrimage) can now be ordered.  The Pilgrimage Office is open Thursday and Saturday, 11 am – 1 pm.

Annual Crib Festival at Thornhill House, 121 Culmore Road, Derry, next weekend.  A lovely way to start our focus on ‘Christmas’ and especially appealing for families with young children.  Opens Friday 23rd November 12 noon – 6.30 pm/Saturday & Sunday 10.30 am – 6.00 pm.  Proceeds in aid of the work of Thornhill Ministries.  For information, contact thornhillministries@derrydiocese.org or 028 7135 1233.

Project Santa and Specialist’s Christmas Wonderland is being held at Specialist Joinery Group Head Quarters, Maghera on Saturday 8th (3 pm) and Sunday 9th December (10 am/1 pm/5.30 pm).  Enjoy a day of Festive Family Fun for charity. Crochet/Knitting continues on Thursday evenings until 13th December.  Class 7 – 9 pm with Mary Kelly.  £6 per class.

Sewing class  continues on Friday evenings with Rosemary.  Places available.

Advent Youth Retreat hosted by the Diocesan Youth Ministry Team, will be held on Saturday 8th December, in the Waterside Parish Centre, Chapel Road, Derry, 10.30 am-4 pm.  Open to all young people aged 16-18 years of age.  Those completing the Pope John Paul II Award are particularly welcome.  A range of fun and faith activities planned.  Email padraig.delargy@derrydiocese.org or call 028 7126 4087 to book or make further enquiries.  Parental consent required.  Consent Forms available from your Parish Priest or from www.derrydiocese.org.  Lunch will be provided.

Club Dinner

The Club Dinner will take place in the Gaelic Centre Longfield on Saturday 1st December at 8 pm.  Players from 1968 who won the County Junior Championship and Graham Cup of that year are being invited and honoured for their achievements.  We ask all members to come along and celebrate with those men the Golden Jubilee of their much acclaimed success.  Admission £20 per person.  If you wish to attend please contact Pat Kidd on 07 71825 7555 or Brona Connery on 078 3355 4306.

The club offers its deepest sympathy to the family of Paul McKeever from Portglenone who died recently.  Paul trained the senior team along with his father-in-law Kevin Kidd who was a past player with the club.
