Twelve Days of Christmas 2018 Draw
‘On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me … one winning ticket!’
The Parish is having a special Christmas Draw this year. There will be draws every day of the 12 days between Christmas Day and Saturday 5th January 2019. Every ticket will be entered into all the draws, which means everyone has 33 chances to win prizes. Total prize fund is £5,000. Tickets are £20 each, available from either of the Church Sacristies, Desertmartin and Ballinascreen Parish Offices, and from Fr. McGirr at the Parochial House, 50 Tobermore Road. This would make a nice Christmas gift to send to members of your family and friends.
The first ten draws are for three prizes of £100. On the Eleventh Day of Christmas the draw will be 2 prizes of £500 and on the Twelfth and Last Day of Christmas there is one final prize of £1,000. Please make a real effort to let your family and friends know about this special Christmas draw.
Parish draws and cake sales have not taken place recently. This has created a shortfall in parish funds and it is hoped that this Christmas Draw will make up for it. Your generosity from week to week is very much appreciated, but, if we are to maintain the fabric of the parish, fund-raising is essential. The work that was undertaken in St Mary’s, Coolcalm four years ago is almost paid, but plans for St Patrick’s Church, Keenaught are waiting our attention. Of immediate concern is the state of the car park at Keenaught. Depending on the success of the draw, it is hoped that this problem can be addressed immediately after Christmas. Thanking you for your continued support.
