“You will eat and have all you want and you will bless the Lord your God in the fine country which he has given you.” Deuteronomy 8:10. This year’s Trócaire Lenten campaign highlights the different ways land is stolen from vulnerable people in the developing world. It could be by corporate land grabs, by war or simply because they are women.

Confirmation: We congratulate the boys and girls of Knocknagin P S and Cullion P S who were confirmed last Saturday in St Patrick’s Church Keenaught. Sincere thanks to Ms Carr and Mr McIver and their staff for preparing their pupils so well and for organising a beautiful Confirmation Ceremony and also the children’s choir for the lovely singing during the Mass.
