Desertmartin Credit Union: We have a special Junior Membership Easter Promotion on at present, which will end on 19th April, to encourage new Junior members to join. If you are a pupil at either Cullion or Knocknagin Primary Schools and have not yet joined our Credit Union, we will give each new member a start-off payment of £10. This is a great opportunity to get saving with us through the schools.

Showbands Of The Northwest Exibition: Will take place in Aras Cholmcille Heritage Centre (Formally The Wee Nuns School situated in the grounds of the Long Tower Church, Derry) From 1st April – 27th April 2019 Opening Times 10am–4pm Monday To Friday. The exhibition will feature photographs and memorabilia from the Showband era of the 1950s 60s & 70s. This will be a great opportunity for young and not so young to reminisce on this great part of our social history. Entry is free, however any donations are appreciated as Aras Cholmcille Heritage Centre is managed by a group of dedicated volunteers, who believe in preserving this great historic building.

Celebrating and Praying the third anniversary of Sr Clare Crockett: Sunday 14th April, Carmelite Monastery, Termonbacca, Derry: 5 pm – a showing of the Extended Edition of the film of Sr Clare’s life, “All or Nothing.” Mass at 7pm. Music led by C.O.R. Refreshments provided by generous donation of Cursillo. Everyone welcome.

Palm Sunday Retreat at St Anthony’s Retreat Centre. “By His wounds we are healed” Isaiah 53:5. Sunday 14th April, 11 am – 4 pm. Prayer Ministry, story Meditation and Mass. Lunch included. Suggested Donation €20. Places are limited, please call to book- 00 353 749384866.

Annual Pony Drive will take place this year on Sunday 4th August.

St. Martin’s GAC – News
Kevin Murphy Memorial Quiz: will take place in the Gaelic Centre on Friday 12th April at 8 pm.
Admission £5 per person. This is a table quiz in memory of Kevin and the great work he did for the club over the years.

Big Breakfast: The club are holding a Big Breakfast in the Gaelic Centre on Sunday 14th April from 9 am to 1 pm. This is a popular event and an important fundraiser so we ask everyone to give it your full support.
