A Thought from the Pope – A few years ago Pope Francis wrote: “The pace of consumption, environmental change and waste has so stretched the planet’s capacity that our contemporary lifestyle, unsustainable as it is, can only precipitate catastrophes, such as those which even now occur in different areas of the world”. (Laudato Si Encyclical).

Desertmartin Parish GIFT (Grow In Faith Together): The GIFT Programme for Year 8’s continues each Thursday evening from 7-9 pm sharp in St Mary’s Hall, Knocknagin. The final night is 19th December and will finish with a party. All current P7’s in both Knocknagin and Cullion Primary Schools are invited to attend the final evening and party from 7 – 9pm. This will afford the P7’s the opportunity to meet with the leaders and join in the fun and games with all the others. With games, music, reflection, arts & Crafts, activities and chill out time, the GIFT Programme provides participants with a positive experience of belonging to the Catholic Church and their own parish.
