LOUGH DERG ONLINE
During the month of June, Lough Derg is offering opportunities to have an experience of retreat and pilgrimage from wherever you are. Online Retreat Days continue on 13th and 18th June. From 27th – 29th June people can do the Three-Day Pilgrimage from afar, along with the Prior and team. KNOCKNAGIN HALL COMMITTEE
We want to say a big Thank You to our volunteers who donated material and elastic for face masks. To date we have completed 280 face masks and 20 scrub-bags for those caring in our community, including NHS Families, NI Scrub Group and Magherafelt Helper Group.
Thanks also to the ladies who knitted a number of little hats for new-born babies. These were donated to Antrim Area Hospital.

ONLINE YOUTH COURSE – SUNDAYS 7 PM
Calling all young people 15-18 years from Derry Diocese, we are hosting an online meeting/course for 8 weeks on Sunday evenings at 7 pm. We will have some craic, play some games and quizzes but we will also explore some big questions about our faith with the help of a programme called Alpha. Alpha Youth explores the Christian Faith and answers some pretty big questions. Each week as part of the meeting we will watch a video and have a discussion afterwards. VISION 2020: FAITH INTO THE FUTURE SCRIPTURE SUMMER SCHOOL
Each year, a Scripture Summer School takes place in Dublin (Holy Cross Diocesan Centre). Over the years, people have enjoyed being together to talk about their faith and to learn about the Word of God. The experience of being together in one place has been a significant and enjoyable dimension. However, because of the Coronavirus crisis, we have decided to offer our Scripture Summer School as usual but, this year, online. With this medium we will reach a much wider audience and people who might not make it to Dublin will be able to take part. Also, the cost has been reduced significantly. The opportunity to view the presentations at your leisure may also be a plus. Go to www.tarsus.ie.
The cost this year is €40. Each participant will receive access to all eighteen presentations with full notes and study questions as well as being able to take part in all five Zoom conferences. All details regarding registration, payment and participation may be found at www.tarsus.ie.

Monday 15th June: all the material for the course will become available on Zoom; pdfs etc. will be sent around to all participants.
Monday 15th June 12.30 pm: A Zoom conference for all, introducing this year’s presentations, opening up the discussion and taking any initial questions.

Tuesday 23rd June 7 pm: Zoom conference for all, chaired by Sean Goan.
Wednesday 24th June 7 pm: Zoom conference for all, chaired by Jessie Rogers.
Thursday 25th June 7 pm: Zoom conference for all, chaired by Kieran O’Mahony.
Friday 26th June 7 pm: Zoom conference for all, with the three presenters present.

PARISH BAPTISMS
In accordance with the Government statement and guidelines issued by Bishop McKeown, there will be no baptisms until further notice. Baptisms will resume as soon as possible, but we ask parents not to be anxious. It is customary nowadays for children to be baptised many weeks and months after they are born. Parents can bless their children with the Sign of the Cross morning and evening and recite the Guardian Angel Prayer for them:
Angel of God
My guardian dear
To whom God’s love
Commits me here
Ever this day
Be at my side
To light and guard
To rule and guide. Amen.
