Relics Of St Bernadette In Derry Diocese The Holy Relics of St. Bernadette are on pilgrimage from Lourdes to Ireland for the very first time, and will visit St. Eugene’s Cathedral, Derry from 2.00 pm today Sunday, until tomorrow, Monday. This very special, event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes in their diocese. The programme over the two days will be led by parishes, choirs, faith groups and organisations from across the diocese.

Accessing Cathedral grounds during the visit
It will not be possible to allow any vehicles into the grounds. Blue badge holders will be guided to the Great James’ Street pedestrian entrance to facilitate drop off. This entrance is on the flat and is a short distance to rear door for disabled entry. Stewards will be on hand to assist.

Wellbeing Event For Men Nóra Murray along with other speakers will be hosting an evening on Saturday 19 October at 7.00 pm sharp in the Club for all men over 18 on mental health and wellbeing. This event is open to the whole community and beyond. It will give you the opportunity to listen to those with lived experiences, an opportunity to ask questions as well as becoming more equipped with how to deal with your own mental health and others. Mid Ulster’s Crime Prevention Officer will be present on Wednesday 16 October at 12 noon to advise what can be done to keep ourselves safe and how to stay one step ahead of scammers.
