Sick Visitation:
Fr. Dermot will visit the sick and the housebound of the parish this week, on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th September after morning Mass.
Confessions: Thursday from 6 pm to 7 pm in St. Mary’s, Coolcalm.

Holy Cross Group, Bethlehem will visit Desertmartin Parish on 1st and 2nd September and Ballinascreen Parish on 8th and 9th September to sell Olive Wood Crafts to support the Christians in the Holy Land.

Padre Pio Mass: The monthly Mass in honour of St. Pio of Pietrelcina will be celebrated on Monday 3rd September at 7.30 pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown. Rosary and novena prayers at 7.10 pm.

St Columb’s PS, Cullion: The school reopens for all pupils on Monday 3rd September at 9 am. P1 pupils should be picked up at 12 noon until Friday 14th September.

St Mary’s Grammar School, Magherafelt Familiarisation Evening will take place on Tuesday 11th September at 7 pm. All P7 pupils intending to register for the Transfer Test and their parents/guardians are invited to attend.

The Holy Family Padre Pio Prayer Group will hold its monthly meeting in the Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty, Derry, on Tuesday 4th September starting with Mass at 7.15 pm. There will be a first class relic at the meeting, and all are welcome.

St. Mary’s Hall in Burt is once again the venue for this very popular Big Bingo. It takes place on Sunday 9th September at 3 pm.

Sarsfield Accordion Band: Band practice commences Thursday 13th September at 7.30 pm for beginners. Open night Thursday 20th September from 7.30 pm.

Hall Renovation: Can you help by filling a bag with unwanted clothing, handbags, belts, shoes, etc. Bags will be delivered and collected over the next few weeks by Hall Committee members or bags can be left at the hall on Tuesdays or Fridays from

Crochet Classes: With Mary Kelly will continue on Thursday 6th September, 7.30 to 9.30 pm. £25 for 6 weeks payable on first night.

Blessing of Bikes & Bikers: An Inter-denominational Service will take place in St. Aengus’ Church, Burt (on the N13 near the Derry/Bridgend Border) on Sunday 9th September for 1.30 pm –ish. At the short prayer service, we will be praying for all deceased bikers, especially those who have died in the past year, followed by a blessing of the bikes and bikers. Collection on the day will be for R.N.L.I. The Service will be followed by a ‘Ride Out to Ned’s Point R.N.L.I. Station where light refreshments will be served.
