Tirgan Community Group: The youth club resumes this Wednesday, 13th Sept, for Primary 3 to Primary 7 pupils, registration at 6 .45 pm, fee £2 registration and  £2 per week for youth club, We are starting off with a six week class of drum and percussion lessons, with other classes organised throughout the year,

Desertmartin Credit Union: Attention all members, Heating Oil will be ordered soon, so any member who has funds in their Heating Oil Account, can place their order by contacting the office as soon as possible during office hours.  Also we would encourage all members to join this club, as it’s a great incentive, to try and save some money coming into the winter months.

SG Active Retirement Association.  Meeting will be held on Monday 11th Sept at 7.30 pm  in St Mary’s Parish Hall, Desertmartin.  Due to demand we plan to run a holiday to Westport in January. New members welcome. Contact Chris: 075 4601 0560.

St Marys Bowling Club new season started on Tuesday night past 5th Sept. The club continues each Tuesday night from 8pm to 10 pm new members are very welcome. If you have considered trying the sport come along on Tuesday night and give it a try.

Lissan Leisure Club.  Crocheting/Knitting classes will be held each Thursday in Lissan Hall, Claggan Road, commencing 14th September from 1 – 3 pm. Tutor will be in attendance.  Everyone welcome.  For further information please telephone Teresa 028 86763988 or Sally 028 86751272.

Sarsfield’s Accordion Band: Band Practice will commence on Thursday 14th September. Why not come along and try to find that hidden talent or improve a forgotten one. New members are always welcome.

Hike to Croagh Patrick: Do you fancy a trip to Westport, County Mayo, combined with a hike of one of Ireland’s famous mountains ‘Croagh Patrick’?  Well now could be the chance! The trip will be on Friday 6th October, for those aged 16+. Cost £30 includes dinner and bus.
