Mass for the Commemoration of the Deceased
A Mass to pray for the happy repose of the souls of those who have died in the past year and all our faithful departed will be celebrated on Thursday 16th November at 7.30 pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Keenaught. During the Mass a candle will be lit and brought to the altar for each of those who have died since last November. As each of their names are announced we would welcome a member of the family to carry up the candle to the front of the altar on behalf of the family. Candles will be provided at back of the church. Everyone else will then be invited to light and bring forward a candle to remember their deceased relatives and friends.

The monthly mass in honour of St Pio of Pietrelcina will be celebrated on Monday Nov. 6th at 7.30 pm in the Holy Rosary Church. Rosary and novena prayers will commence at 7.10pm

CATCH-UP FLU CLINIC NOTICE for Patients of the Draperstown Surgery. The Surgery will be holding a catch-up flu clinic on Monday 13th November 5.30pm – 7.30pm. (No appointment necessary). Any adults or children that haven’t yet received their flu vaccine, please come along. This includes any children that may have missed the nasal vaccine.

Meeting of Overseas Returned Volunteers & Lay Missionaries

Christmas Craft Fair Will be held in the GAA Hall Longfield on Sunday 12th Nov.  A variety of gifts and crafts will be available. Open 11am to 3pm. Everyone welcome.

Committee meeting on Monday 6th Nov. at 8pm in Knocknagin School all Committee members are ask to attend. New members are very welcome to attend this meeting.

Scor na nOg semi-final is taking place in the Gaelic Centre on Saturday 18th November @ 7:00pm.  Participants must be seventeen years old or younger.  Events include Irish dance, solo singing,  instrumental music,  ballad group and recitation. Well done to all players who took part in the Anthony McSwiggan Inter-Parish Memorial Tournament last Sunday.  Congratulations to Tirgan on winning the competition and to Enda McGuckin who was voted player of the tournament.  Thanks to the kitchen staff who prepared a wonderful meal and to Patricia McSwiggan who made the presentations.  We are also grateful to Peter O’Connor who referred all games.
