Children in Crossfire: Advent boxes are now available at the doors of the chapel. We ask if you can take a box and place it in your home over Christmas and return it in January. Funds raised will provide vital health care and nutrition to some on the world’s most vulnerable children in Tanzania and Ethiopia. Shauna 02871269898.

Tirgan Community Group: Craft Fair tomorrow Sunday 3rd December 12 noon -5.00 pm, crafters from around Mid-Ulster display their beautiful hand-made crafts, such as jewellery, character baubles, Art work, felt Craft, floral displays, chutneys, cupcakes, etc also Breatheasy sports-wear, O’Kanes Chemist with perfumes and beauty products, shoes, handbags and much more. Santa arrives at 1.00 pm in his carriage, children can get their photograph taken and receive a present before Santa leaves at 3.30pm due to other commitments. Adults can relax in our tea rooms with a cup of tea and a treat. Always a great day out. Everyone Welcome.

Padre Pio lay committee: The monthly mass in honour of St Pio of Pietrelcina will be celebrated on Mon. 4th Dec. at 7.30 pm in The Holy Rosary Church. Rosary and novena prayers 7.10 pm.

St Mary’s Parochial Hall
Cancellation of December Dance. Due to on-going renovations to the Parish Hall, unfortunately it has been necessary to cancel the monthly tea dance on Friday the 8th December. It is hoped that enough progress will have been made to allow the Boxing Night Dance to take place music by Micheal Mawhinney. We apologise for any inconvenience, and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support throughout 2017 and wish you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas.

Our Over 60’s Group meets again from the earlier time of 11am-1pm on Thursday 7th December in Unit B1 (STEPS) at the front of Workspace.  This session will offer participants the opportunity to create a range of festive decorations featuring elves, reindeers etc. using craft materials.  Booking is required so contact Adele on 028 7962 8113 or email adele@theworkspacegroup.org asap to secure your place as this workshop will be very popular!

December All-Night Vigil, Knock Shrine: The 45th Eucharistic All-Night Vigil will take place at Knock Shrine on Thursday 7th – Friday 8th December. The programme for the night begins on December 7th at 10pm with confessions until 12 midnight in the Chapel of Reconciliation. The vigil will begin at 12 midnight in the Basilica with Rosary, Candlelight Procession, Holy Hour and Stations of the Cross. Mass will take place at 4 am on December 8th with main celebrant Fr Freddy Warner and concelebrant Fr Brendan Walsh. St John’s Rest & Care Centre will be open all night to facilitate pilgrims who are attending the vigil.
