Special Diocesan Mass: The Annual Diocesan Mass for those with special needs, and their families and friends, will take place in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown, Derry, on Saturday 10th March at 3.00 pm. If you have a child who wishes to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation or First Communion at this Mass please contact the Catechetical Centre on 028 7126 4087.

Children in Crossfire thank all those who donated to our advent campaign so far, for one more week any remaining boxes can still be returned to the sacristy or the CIC office at 2 St Joseph’s Avenue Derry. Amount raised will then be put in the bulletin.

Tirgan Community Hall: Tea Dance on Friday 26th January music by Rhythm ‘ N ‘ Riffs, dancing 9 pm. Adm £5 includes light supper.
Gymnastics continue each Thursday evening, for P 1-P 7 children only.
Youth Club as usual Wednesday nights 7.00 pm -8.30 pm
Friday 5th February a Financial mentor will be available to farmers for financial advise, from 7.30pm.
Men’s Health club starting Monday 26th February 7.30pm, more info to follow
Farm Family Health Bus will be at the hall on Monday 12th March from 6.00pm

~ Parish Hall Desertmartin ~
In association with People Plus N.I., we have been able to arrange the following Courses which will take place in the Parish Hall on the following dates. Craft Evening (1 session) on Monday 5th February from 6 pm – 9 pm. First Aid course (2 sessions) on Monday 12th and Monday 19th February from 6 pm – 9 pm. Sewing course (4 sessions) on Friday 9th, 16th and 23rd February and 2nd March from 6 pm – 9 pm. To register for any of these courses, contact Olive on 028 7963 1744 or 078 8761 4094, or Teeni on 028 7967 9397. Places are limited, so please register as soon as possible.

Sarsfield Accordion Band: Band practice continues on Thursday from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm. Everyone welcome. Monthly Draw tickets are now on sale from any committee member also a few calendars are still available at £4. Remember: To keep Sunday 28th January free for making of St Brigid’s Crosses.

The annual 5km/10km Slieve Gallion Run will take place on Sunday 25th February.

The club offers its sincere sympathy to the O’Connor family of Cullion Road on the death of Margaret Mallon (Kildress) grandmother of underage player Shay and mother to club member Edel.
