Attention Year 8’s: There will be an exciting new programme starting in the parish on Thursday 7th November in St Mary’s Hall Desertmartin. 7-9pm. The GIFT programme stands for Growing In Faith Together and each night there will be games, fun, faith activities such as art and crafts and time for reflection. GIFT will run for 7 weeks and booking forms are available at the back of Church. Please sign up, the GIFT Leaders are looking forward to meeting you all!

Tirgan Community Group: Please Note – The Farm Family First Aid course which was due to be held on Monday 21st October, will now take place on 4th November at 7 pm. Everyone welcome. Anthony McSwiggan Memorial Tournament: The Anthony McSwiggan Memorial Tournament took place in Longfield on Friday 4th October. This annual inter-parish football tournament involving four teams from the Cullion/Brackalislea, Tirgan, Longfield and Knocknagin regions is dedicated to the memory of our late chairman Anthony McSwiggan and his dedication to Gaelic games within our community. Tirgan won the competition and Gavin Donnelly was named as Player of the Tournament. Anthony’s wife Patricia made the presentations.

U10s: Well done to our U10 players and management on winning the McAnespie Cup at Glen recently following their 3-9 to 2-2 victory over Kilrea in the final. Congratulations to Paddy Connery who was named as Player of the Tournament.

Condolences: The Club offers its deepest sympathy to the Murtagh family of Crocknamohill Rd on the death of Charlie Murtagh father to our U16 coach John and grandfather to underage players Connor and Fionnula.
