SAFEGUARDING AWARENESS PRESENTATION
The Safeguarding Officers of Desertmartin and Ballinascreen will jointly present the Annual Safeguarding Awareness Evening to parishioners on Wednesday 22nd November at 8.00 pm in St. Colm’s High School. 
It is especially important that those directly involved in parish ministry in both parishes – sacristans, choir leaders, Eucharistic Ministers who bring communion to the sick, SPRED leaders, etc – attend.  Also all groups using Knocknagin Hall must be represented. All are welcome.

Retirement Mass: We are celebrating Mrs. Fullen’s recent retirement from St. Columb’s P.S., Cullion with a Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Keenaught on Wednesday 29th November at 7.30 pm, followed by refreshments and presentation in the school hall.  All of our pupils, their parents, family members and school community (past and present) are cordially invited to attend this event in honour of Mrs. Fullen.  To help with catering arrangements, please phone the school office on 028 7963 1382 to confirm numbers attending.  We look forward to seeing you on the night.

Tirgan Community Group: Friday 24th November ~ monthly Tea Dance, music by Michael Mawhinney, adm £5 includes light Supper. Youth Club continues each Wednesday night 7 pm – 8.30 pm. Christmas trip to Ritz cinema, Cookstown on Wednesday 6th December. Sunday 3rd December ~ Christmas Fair, 12 noon – 5 pm, beautiful handmade Crafts including, table decorations, art work, floral displays, home bakes, etc. Breatheasy football wear stall also in attendance. Buy your sportswear, gloves, hurls, etc and get your club logo printed on them, a lovely stocking filler for Christmas. Santa arriving at 1 pm.  Children can visit Santa and get a photograph taken with him and receive a lovely present as well. Parents can relax with a cup of tea and a mince pie in our tea room and enjoy the day. Everyone welcome.

The Millennium Forum presents: Signed Performance of Jack & The Beanstalk on Thursday 7th December at 7 pm. This performance will have BSL & ISL signers positioned at the front of the stage for ease of viewing. …and…
Relaxed Performance of Jack & The Beanstalk on Sunday 10th December at 4 pm. This is a performance that is adapted in various ways to make it more accessible to young people with learning and sensory difficulties.

Kilcronaghan Centre: Bake a Christmas Cake & Decorate! All Ingredients Supplied.

Lissan Leisure Club: Whist Drive (In Memory of the late Anne Coey) will be held in Lissan Hall, Claggan Road on Friday 24th November at 8.30 pm.  Top Score £50.  Supper served.  Admission £5. All proceeds are in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sarsfield Accordion Band: A Mass for deceased members of the AOH will be celebrated on Monday 20th November in Coolcalm at 7.30 pm. Everyone Welcome.

The youth presentation will be held in the hall on Sunday 3rd December.

Well done to everyone who organised such an enjoyable day last Sunday for the visit of Clones G.A.C to Desertmartin.

Congratulations to Johnny Niblock and Patrick McCann who were recently appointed to manage the men senior team for the incoming season.

All ticket sellers of the National Club Draw should submit their returns to the club no later than Monday 27th November.

The Christmas Bazaar will be held in the Gaelic Centre on Saturday 9th December.
